May LivBox

Hi!

So this month's livbox arrived and once again it was full of wonderful things. Here's what was inside:

Naturel - Nail Cover Stickers There are 20 stickers in the package. I'm not really sure what I'll do with these as I don't really use nail cover sticker but maybe I can try to include these in a manicure some way. The design is pretty nice so it would be a shame to not use them.
Lumene - Shimmering BB body lotion "Beautify your tan" what tan?? I'm not too excited about this product but I'll definitely try it out when it gets warmer.
Dove - Deeply Nourishing Body Wash I have so many shower gels and body washes but I guess you can never have too many. I think my skin is getting a bit dryer as we're getting towards summer so I think I'll put this in my shower right away.
Max Factor - Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick Mine is in the shade Designer Blossom which is a beautiful and bright red. So basically made just for me. I love the color and I'm super excited about this.
La Roche-Posay - Thermal Spring Water Oh. My. God. I had a bottle of another brand's thermal spring water and it was my favorite thing ever during summer time. I had almost forgot about it until I saw this in the box. It's just such a multipurpose product. Thank you livbox for reminding me that these exist :D
Nivea - Lip Butter I wanted to scream when I saw this!! I saw these in the store the other day and almost bought one as I LOVE the Nivea lip butters but I'm glad I didn't. I already know this will be a great product.

We also got a Max Factor pencil sharpener (which I needed a lot!!) and a coupon code to kauneutta.com for -20% (LIVBOX valid until 31.5.2015)

So basically the box was pretty wonderful. I feel like livbox is stalking me because I once again got products that I've wanted to/ needed to buy :D

See you soon!

January 2015 Livbox

Hi!

This year's first Livbox came in the mail couple days ago. It wasn't one of my favorite ones but I'm pretty excited to try everything. Here's what was inside:

Philosophy - The Microdelivery Peel Kit If you only knew how excited I got when I heard Livbox were working with Philosophy and we would get their products in the boxes. This one is a two-step in-home peel and the results are supposed to be immediate and remarkable. In the box we had foil packets of what is included in this peel and it will probably last for one use so I'm interested to see how immediate the results are. (76€ / 60 + 60 ml)
Rimmel - BB Cream 9 in 1 I'm kind of not a fan of getting bb creams in Livbox. I mean I would love it if I wasn't as pale as Voldemort. Even though this bb cream is in shade light, it will probably be a bit too dark for me and I will definitely still try it because it sounds pretty interesting. This 9 in 1 bb cream promises to prime, moisturize, minimize pores, conceal, cover, smooth, mattify, brighten and help protect. It also has spf 25. (11,90€ / 30 ml)
La Roche-Posay - Lipikar Baume AP+ balm A balm you use daily. Mostly suitable for very dry or sensitive skin. My face does get really dry especially during winter (it's been even worse in Lapland) and not a lot of things have worked so I'm excited to see how this one works for me. (9€ / 200 ml)
Lumene - Ultra sensitive moisturizing and calming mask I'm always up for trying new face masks so this was nice to get. It's supposed to help to minimize skin irritation, redness and tightness and provide optimal moisture. (17,90€ / 75ml)
Cutrin - Chooz Multivolumizer This product promises volume, body and texture for all hair lengths. It contains UV-, anti-humidity and heat protection. It's also apparently developed especially for Nordic hair and for Nordic conditions. My only problem with this is that you're supposed to blow dry your hair after using this but I let my hair air dry. I might still try out how it works without blow drying. (15,90 / 150ml)

See you soon!

September Livbox

Hi!

I didn't have the best day today after oversleeping in the morning and missing the first class. I absolutely HATE being late so I felt awful about it all school day. I also knew that I had to go to the store after school and I wasn't really in the mood to do that but what inspired me to get off my butt and go outside was a package waiting for me in the post office. This month's LivBox had arrived!

September's theme was transforming into fall and all the new products released in fall. Once again, this box had a few products I've been meaning to get new ones of for a while now but never got around. It's like they know me and my cosmetic needs hahaha. I loved the box and I've been so so so pleased with the last two boxes especially. Now let's take a look what was in my box:

L'Occitaine - Shea Butter Hand Cream I've heard about these hand creams A LOT but never got myself one. The tube is pretty small so I put it in my backpack to take with me to school so I can try it out there.
L'oréal Paris - Elnett Satin Volum Excess (hair spray) I actually just needed a new hairspray.
L'oréal Paris - Skin Perfection Unifying Day Moisturizer ...and I needed a new moisturizer too :D Pretty excited about this one.
Nivea - Lip Butter Blueberry Blush I actually had to hold back a scream when I saw this in the box. Nivea's lip butters are my favorite and I had no idea they had a new one. I absolutely love anything that is blueberry scented too and this smelled just wonderful.
Katy Perry - Royal Revolution (perfume) I've been a fan of Katy's previous perfumes but this one was a bit too strong for me. I will probably give it to a friend or something.
Lumene - Clear it up! (face wash) I just tried this out in a shower and liked it. I can't really form a good enough opinion after using it for few days other than it smells pretty good :D

See you soon!

Surprise package from LivBox

Hi!

It's been about a month since I heard that I LivBox would be sending me a surprise package in the mail because I sent them a reaction picture of me opening July's box. Because of my move during the time the package was sent, it never got to me until I emailed LivBox. They have an absolutely amazing customer service and we finally got things sorted out and the package arrived today.

Now the first surprise was the amount of products I was treated with. I was expecting like 3-4, not 6. Here's what I got:

MSCHIC lipgloss in Baby Pink I don't think I actually have a lipgloss that's anything similar to this shade so I'm pretty excited. I almost screamed when I saw this in the package because I just love lip products :D
Clarins BB skin perfecting cream I just decided to switch from BB creams to foundation again but I'm sure I'll find use for this.
Louis Wildmer Cleansing Milk
Sally Hansen Diamond Strength nail polish in Sweetie Pie This color is soooo pretty! I absolutely love Sally Hansen nail polishes so I can't wait to give this a try.
Peppy Galore Diva toner This is the only product I knew about and I was so excited to get it. Peppy Galore closed down earlier this month and I had some regrets of not ever getting their toners but now I have one and I'm so excited to try it out.
Batiste Dry Shampoo (Original) I think I've stated earlier how much I love Batiste dry shampoos so I don't think I even need to say how excited I got when I saw this.

See you soon!

August LivBox

Hi!

How about we ignore that fact that I wasn't supposed to post until I'm in Rovaniemi? Because I got my August LivBox today and I really wanted to share it because this is one of my favorite ones for months. A lot of people seem to agree on their facebook page too :D

First thing that caught my eye was the tissue paper. It's usually just one color but this time we got patterns! How exciting! Also, every box has a theme and this time different Finnish bloggers had picked their favorite products to be included in the box and I'm so excited to start using these. I don't remember when was the last time I was actually excited about every single product in a LivBox.

The box included following products:
Clinique- All About Eyes I have awful dark circles under my eyes so I'm always up to trying out new eye creams :D
The Body Shop- Honeymania Body Butter not my favorite scent from The Body Shop but it still smells good. I absolutely love their body butters and I got so excited when LivBox said they started working with The Body Shop.
Batiste- XXL Volume Dry Shampoo Have I ever mentioned how much I love Batiste dry shampoos? I use them almost daily so I almost wanted to scream when I saw the bottle in my box. I also like the little bottles because I always carry a dry shampoo with me.
Dolce&Gabbana- Dolce Shower Gel As if I need anymore shower gels :D:D This one smells absolutely amazing and I can't wait to start using it.
Lumene- Arctic Sun Bronzer I've been actually meaning to buy a bit lighter bronzer but never did so this is great :D I tried to get a better picture of the color but this was the best I could do:

See you soon! (This time actually in Rovaniemi :P)

Mail mail mail

Hi!

So I got some interesting stuff in the mail today and thought I'd share them with you guys.

First of all, I got my July Livbox (which is a subscription service where you get a box full of beauty products every month). It wasn't my favorite box but it had some pretty cool products in it.

Here's what my July box included:
CK One Red- for Him and for Her perfume samples that I forgot to include in the picture
Rich- Pure Luxury Intense Moisture Shampoo
Rich- Pure Luxury Rejuvenating Argan Oil Elixir I love love love hair oils so I'm super excited to try this one out
Dermosil- Summer Glow Nail Polish I might have to paint my nails today. The color is soooo pretty!
Favora- Sun Lotion for Sensitive Skin if only I left my room
Invisibobble I'll use this if I decide to grow my hair out again
Terre d'Oc- Shea Body Butter this was for long time subscribers. You can never have too many body butters/lotions, right?

The other thing that arrived is something I was super excited about. I'm starting school again which means essays, exams, homework, projects and a lot of other stuff that I need to remember. And if you know me at all, you know my memory is AWFUL. Because of my horrible ability to remember things, I have carried a calendar/planner with me everywhere since 7th grade, I think. I probably couldn't live without one during a school year. This year I decided to customize one and it turned out amazing.

This is how it arrived in the box.

I really wanted to use some of my Playlist Live pictures on the cover designs so I came up with a idea of putting together inspirational and happy quotes on a collage. The quotes on the pictures from Playlist have either been said by the person or is somehow related to them.

I love this quote and it kind of fits since I will be recording a year of my life in this calendar

You can also pick the design inside your calendar and I obviously went with pink. I decided to go with English as the language as I use it daily and I even think in English. I also included a "list of the week" because I love making lists, "idea of the week" where I'm probably going to write down video or blog post ideas, and "to do this week" because I love to do lists. There is also a little space for notes for the week.

The end of the calendar has some empty pages where you can select different kind of things. I went with lined and blank pages and sudokus! I love solving sudokus and it's taking my everything not to start solving these yet. I'm going to wait until school starts.

Well, this ended up being longer than I expected. I really don't have anything to update about the move unless you count the fact that I got 4 new boxes to pack more stuff in. I might have to start working on my huge candle collection next.

See you soon!
